Jack Darcus graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in art history and philosophy in 1963. Since then Darcus has been painting and exhibiting in Vancouver, Eastern Canada, and Europe. In recent years Darcus has focused on a series of quintessential west coast landscapes classically painted in egg tempera.
Darcus' works can be found in many public spaces, corporate collections and private residences.
